The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) launched an online tax profiling system in collaboration with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) for the audit of assets.
FBR Chairman Syed Shabbar Zaidi disclosed the online tax viewing process and assured that it keeps 53 million citizens privacy at first.
The online portal has a two step verification process. The user can access the financial profile by typing the CNIC and mobile number. After that, a text message appears on PTA-registered phone with a code that you can enter into the portal to continue. The last one step is to Pay Rs500 either through e-sahulat or a credit/debit card.
The new tax system data has been complied with the assistance of
NADRA. The concerned persons can easily verify the transactions undertaken in the past by them through new tax profile system.
