PFA inks MoU with nine universities, plans to train over two hundred thousand students food safety ambassadors and internship program

The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with nine well-known public and private universities of Punjab to promote the importance of nutrition. PFA in collaboration with the universities will also offer food & nutrition plans to conduct joint awareness and research activities. A MoU ceremony was held at PFA Headquarter under the presence of Food Minister Samiullah Chaudhry. On the occasion, PFA Director General Captain (R) Muhammad Usman briefed the vice chancellors, rectors, principals and Head of Departments about the purpose of MoU and nutrition plans. PFA and universities will jointly hold number of activities including awareness programs, student ambassador program, joint research programs, internship opportunities and utilization of faculty in content development.
