The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) launched an online tax profiling system in collaboration with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) for the audit of assets.

FBR Chairman Syed Shabbar Zaidi disclosed the online tax viewing process and assured that it keeps 53 million citizens privacy at first.

The online portal has a two step verification process. The user can access the financial profile by typing the CNIC and mobile number. After that, a text message appears on PTA-registered phone with a code that you can enter into the portal to continue. The last one step is to Pay Rs500 either through e-sahulat or a credit/debit card.


The new tax system data has been complied with the assistance of
NADRA. The concerned persons can easily verify the transactions undertaken in the past by them through new tax profile system.

Pakistani expats offer business center in UAE to help entrepreneurs from homeland

ISLAMABAD, Jan 31 (APP):Business Star Center and Zamana Group of Companies, being operated by two overseas Pakistanis in Unite Arab Emirates (UAE), have offered establishing a business center to facilitate Pakistani entrepreneurs to operate in the Emirates.
They extended the offer to Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD) Syed Zulfikar Bukhari during a meeting held the other day.
The OP&HRD ministry has assured them to provide required services in UAE for launching the business center at earliest, ministry spokesperson told APP Thursday.
He said the youth belonging to Pakistani diaspora would be able to register their companies and small start ups free of charge through this business center.

In a video statement, Zulfi congratulated the interested youth for having an opportunity to execute their business ideas in UAE, adding that a number of successful Pakistani businessmen were already working in Dubai and sending huge remittances to the country.
“Extremely pleased to have well established overseas Pakistani across the globe contributing big towards national development by helping those who are less fortunate,” he tweeted soon after meeting the delegation of Zamana Group of Companies, which called on him here.
Eulogizing their spirit, Zulfikar Bukhari thanked them for providing nesting space and business center services voluntarily to Pakistani entrepreneurs trying to settle in UAE.


SMEDA to extend business advisory services under Kamyab Jawan Programme

ISLAMABAD, Jan 24 (APP):A delegation of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) in the leadership of Secretary Industries and Production called on Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar to discuss role of SMEDA in educating and handling SME sector borrowers under the proposed Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Programme.
This flagship initiative of the government will not only promote SME sector in the country but will also create one million employment opportunities for the youth.

Usman Dar said, “Development of SME sector was a key to economic turnaround of a developing country like Pakistan. It not only creates employment opportunities, but also contributes significantly towards the exports and GDP growth. Therefore, government intends to extend maximum support to this crucial sector both financially and technically under Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Programme.
It was decided in the meeting that SMEDA will identify top 25 SME business ventures as per latest trends in the job market both locally and internationally. It will also develop their viable feasibility reports to educate and facilitate the potential entrepreneurs and provide training in business development cycle.
Usman Dar appreciated the efforts of Ministry of Industries and Production and SMEDA for the promotion of SME sector in the country.
He also urged upon them to put in their best for the economic empowerment of youth through creation of job under SME sector.

National Job Programme (NJP) consists of vocational training of youth in preeminent of TVET institutes, and their placements in pertinent industries to encourage national economic growth.

Furthermore, youth trained in high-end technologies in the fields of construction, hospitality, artificial intelligence, e-mobility and robotics would also endow to seek jobs in the international markets.

GIZ would rank the existing TVET sector institutes in the country based on the quality of their training programmes agreed in the Youth affairs job programme meeting.

Prime Minister’s Youth Programme would enlist top ranking institutes to communicate skills training to youth for a more productive employment under its National Job Programme.

Usman Dar valued GIZ for their role in the development of TVET sector in Pakistan, and articulated hope to influence their expertise in the meadow for creating better employment opportunities for the youth.

Youth endorsed to find out modern entrepreneurship techniques

COMSATS was partnering in organizing the international activity in Pakistan, endorsed youth to find out up to date entrepreneurship techniques, the main features of this activity is International Student Convention (ISC) and Expo scheduled to be held on 11-13th December, 2018 at Islamabad under the theme of “Securing our future”.

Youth have to endorse with up to date techniques of entrepreneurship aiming to help them create job opportunities for other young people acknowledged by the Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS) Executive Director Dr SM Junaid Zaidi.

Youth need to persuade active contribution in every bubble of life especially in achieving the desired level of sustainable socio-economic development. A particular session on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) would highlight the valuable role of youth in this regard.
