Pakistan Software Export board (PSEB) has intended to employ 3,000 more interns in Information Technology (IT) industry  to help boost their employability.

PSEB during last five years has created 3,800 paid internships in different IT companies in Pakistan with objective to create jobs for at least 70 per cent of these interns. 950 IT companies and around 650 call centers registered with PSEB.

Growth in Information Technology (IT) is around 150 per cent and total revenues of IT industry in Pakistan has crossed around US$ 4.5 billion a year. Pakistan’s IT exports have crossed US $ 3 billion per year and annual domestic revenue has reached more than US$ one billion.

PSEB in collaboration with Ignite has been offering opportunity of internship for educated youth of Pakistan through Prime Ministers ICT Internship Programme.

The students are shortlisted as per criteria and ICT departments from public and private sector selects candidates as per their demands. Stipend is given after submission of monthly progress and attendance reports to PSEB.

Two IT parks, one in Islamabad and one in Karachi are being established by Board. Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) has made on hand over 800,000 sq. ft. IT enabled office space in 12 designated Software Technology Parks where around 80 public and private IT/ITeS companies are engaged in software development and export services.

PSEB is a fundamental organization of Government of Pakistan with a consent to make sure sustainable development of IT industry, boost cooperation with international IT entities and create attractive environment for investment in Pakistan IT sector.

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa disclosed to build Pakistan’s first ever digital city. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IT Board (KPITB) is alluring investors for Pakistan’s first Digital City, to be based out of Haripur, on the periphery of capital’s Margalla Hills.

In order to build the Pakistan Digital City in harmony with industry requirements, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) has launched a first round demand form for investors to gain feedback and requirements from potential investors.

نیشنل ہائی وے اتھارٹی نے مسافروں کی سہولت کے لیے موبائل ایپ متعارف کرادی

اسلام آباد (مانیٹرنگ ڈیسک) وزیراعظم عمران خان کی ہدایت پر نیشنل ہائی وے اتھارٹی (این ایچ اے) نے مسافروں کی سہولت کے لیے موبائل ایپ متعارف کرادی جو 12 ہزار کلومیٹر شاہراؤں کی مکمل تفصیل سے آگاہ رکھے گی۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق این ایچ اے کی جانب سے اسلام آباد میں تقریب کا انعقاد کیا گیا جس میں وزیرمملکت برائے مواصلات مراد سعید اور نیشنل ہائی وے اتھارٹی کے حکام نے شرکت کی۔

وزیرمملکت برائے مواصلات نے موبائل ایپ کا افتتاح کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ملک بھر کے موٹر ویز اور ہائی ویز کو ایک ہی ایپ میں منسلک کردیا گیا، اب این ایچ اے کی تمام تفصیلات عوام کے سامنے موجود ہیں۔ تقریب میں اظہار خیال کرتے ہوئے اُن کا کہنا تھا کہ حکومت نے100روزہ پلان کے اہداف 70 روز میں پورے کئے، ہم نے این ایچ اے کی 128کروڑ مالیت کی زمین واگزار کرائی اور محکمے کی اضافی گاڑیاں بھی نیلامی کے لئے پیش کیں۔ وزیر مملکت کا کہنا تھا کہ ذرائع آمدن میں 750 ملین اضافہ ہوگیا، این ایچ اے نے صرف 50 دنوں میں ملکی خزانے کو 344 کروڑ روپے کا فائدہ پہنچایا۔ انہوں نے اعلان کیا کہ وزیراعظم کی ہدایت کے مطابق 5 نئے منصوبے شروع کرنے جارہے ہیں، حیدرآباد تا سکھر کا موٹروے بھی تکمیل کے آخری مراحل میں ہے۔ ایپلیکشن کے فوائد عوام 12 ہزار کلومیٹر تک موٹروے کا موسم، ٹریفک کی روانی، روڈ کی بندش کے حوالے جان سکیں گے جبکہ ملک بھر کے تمام ہائی ویز موٹرویز پر موجود رکاوٹوں، روڈ سیفٹی، ٹال ریٹس، موٹروے پولیس کے بارے میں معلومات ایک ٹچ پر آسانی سے حاصل کرسکیں گے۔
